Halflings

The sea-farers of Nurthia are the Halflings. They are quite capable seamean and any ship without a halfling on board is widely regarded as doomed to sink as the race has such a natural affinity for the trade they can immediately jump on board and control the ship like they had been using it all their life. They also have found a new source of magic, Pact Magic and are the widest practitioners of it with the exception of Fleurian pacts that a series of Half Elves discovered in the jungles. Their home city Lystia is currently undergoing a race war with the Tieflings over the attention the Halfling’s pirate activities have been attracting from an increasingly agitated Luthgard .

Savage Worlds

Small: Halflings are tiny, miniscule even. They get a pace of 5 and a -1 to toughness.
Luck larger than their bodies: Halflings are insanely lucky and thus begin with the Luck edge for free. They get an extra Benny at the start of every session.
Born in the Rigging: Halflings begin with a d6 in boating.
Tiny Target: Halflings are adept at using hteir size in combat to avoid being injured and gain the Extraction edge for free.
